PlasmaLeap is now a world leader in the application of plasma-based products and services to industry and academic research. We develop zero-emissions chemical reactors for synthesis of green fuels and chemicals. Our technology is at the forefront of the Power-to-X revolution, replacing fossil fuels with new green chemicals, and cleaning hazardous industrial waste.

Our team of researchers draws on years of specialist knowledge and expertise to apply our technology to industrial problems, with results that outperform competing electrochemical and catalytic systems.

Frere Byrne

Chief Executive Officer
Frere has a background in technology development, venture capital, and investment banking, most recently leading ventures & investments across financial services, technology and energy.
He is a distributed tech sector specialist, and has extensive experience in the application of IOT technology to infrastructure and supply chains.
Professor PJ Cullen

Chief Scientific Officer
PJ is a world-leading expert in the application of non-thermal plasma technology to industrial & environmental settings. He is Director of Research and Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Sydney.
With over 20 years experience in chemical engineering, PJ has founded a number of successful agricultural and advanced manufacturing companies including InnoPharma.
Samantha Cullen

Chief Commercial Officer
Sam is a global sales executive with over 10 years experience in business and commercial account management. She has worked across global brands including Viacom International (Nickelodeon & MTV), Turner Networks, and Foxtel International Channels.
She has global business experience in Europe & UK, North America, and Asia.
